taxis ran uber out of town, however you can still use the uber app to call a taxi.. so yes?
EUROS OR CARD?
you can pretty much tap to pay/use card everywhere. we didn't use any cash while we were there in Jan.
Most places DO NOT accept american express.
we recommend you have some euros on you, just in case, but you won't necessarily need them.
BANKS & ATMS
out of all the atms we checked, the Deutsch bank had the best conversion rate and lowest fee.
LANGUAGE BARRIER
in barcelona, they speak catalan & spanish. Most people are amazing and also speak english. if they don't they will speak enough for you to get by, however do not rely on this. download the translate app on your phone just incase. all, we recommend picking up on a few phrases just to be polite.

also for the love of the universe, if you see "LL" in any word.. its a Y sound, not an L. there is no exception to this unless you are in argentina... then is "sh" lol

HOW DO I KNOW THE TRAIN SCHEDULE?
if you use the maps app on your phone for the directions to your location and change the mode of transportation to transit, it will list all the trains out, plus all the other details like how long of a walk you have.
MASKS???
have on on you just in case!!! we didn't have to wear one anywhere other than the bus from the airport into barcelona. they say they are required on all public transportation, but this varies.
